Entek adds to board of directors

The directors of Entek Energy Ltd have appointed two new members to the board.

PERTH, Australia -- The directors of Entek Energy Ltd have appointed two new members to the board. Craig McGown will serve as chairman. David Anthony Craig will serve as a non-executive director.

McGown will replace Russell Brimage, CEO and executive director as chairman. McGown is an investment banker with more than 35 years experience in capital raisings, mergers, and acquisitions, particularly in the natural resources sector. He currently is an executive director of New Holland Capital Pty Ltd, a non-executive chairman of Pioneer Nickel Ltd., and a non-executive director of Bass Metals Ltd. and Peel Exploration Ltd. He is a former executive chairman of DJ Carmichael Pty Ltd., and former executive director of Resource Finance Corp. Ltd.

McGown brings to the board comprehensive knowledge of the equity markets and financing of projects in relation to resource companies, according to Entek.

Craig has been a partner in a major Perth law firm, served as a stockbroker and executive director in a national stockbroking and investment banking company for 10 years, and worked as an executive in the field of public and government affairs for Woodside Petroleum Ltd. for five years. He has specialized in resources and commercial legal advice, including work on resources joint ventures, the acquisition and disposal of interests in companies, and projects as well as capital raisings.

Craig has expertise in the law, financial markets, stakeholder engagement, relationship management, strategic planning, and risk management, according to Entek.
