LONDON -- The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology (IMarEST) has appointed Marcus Jones, currently COO, as chief executive, effective May 1, 2009. He succeeds Keith Read, who has served the institute first as director general and then as chief executive, since January 1999.
