Ingrain appoints MD for first international office

HOUSTON -- Ingrain has appointed Patricia Pastana de Lugão as MD of the company's first international office, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Pastana de Lugão holds extensive expertise in developing and introducing new geophysical technologies and software. As founder of StrataImage, a Rio de Janeiro-based consulting firm for Brazilian geophysical companies, Pastana de Lugão has worked on projects such as seismic elastic inversion and marine electromagnetic surveys. She also has extensive experience with companies including Landmark Graphics and Baker Hughes' Geosignal and Baker Atlas divisions.
Pastana de Lugão holds a doctorate in geophysics from the University of Utah, as well as a master's degree in geophysics from the Observatorio Nacional in Rio de Janeiro, and a bachelor's degree in water resources and environmental engineering from the University of South Carolina.
