Aker Yards appoints COO

Offshore staff

OSLO, Norway -- Aker Yards ASA has appointed Sang-Ho Shin as COO. Shin previously served as VP of STX Shipbuilding in Korea, where he was chief for the Jinhae shipyard.

In his new role, Shin will focus on production efficiency, procurement, logistics, knowledge transfer, technology, and innovation.
