THE NETHERLANDS -- Jan Mouthaan, Vryhof Anchors CEO, has died.

Mouthaan started his professional career in the late 1960s and held various sales positions before
becoming involved with an international wood trading company. He joined Vryhof Anchors in the early 1980s.

Mouthaan supported the new management who took ownership of the company in 2004, and remained the company's CEO until his death. He was preparing to hand over his role to the current board of directors in early 2008. Commercial director Øyvind Wathne will now take over Mouthaan's responsibilities three months earlier than originally planned.
