TGS appoints COO

TGS-NOPEC has appointed Robert S. Hobbs as COO.

ASKER, Norway -- TGS-NOPEC has appointed Robert S. Hobbs as COO. Based in Houston, Hobbs will be responsible for the worldwide operations of the company.

Hobbs joins TGS after one year as manager of worldwide geoscience for Marathon Oil. He has previously worked for Veritas DGC, ARCO Oil and Gas, Exxon, and Union Texas Petroleum.
