HOUSTON -- Baker Hughes has appointed Jan Kees van Gaalen as VP and treasurer. He will replace Douglas Doty who retired from the company in July 2007.
Van Gaalen joins Baker Hughes from PT Inco Tbk, a subsidiary of Vale Inco, where he served as CFO. He has previously held finance positions at Carlton Communications and Schlumberger in France, the UK, Brazil, and South Africa.
