Noble Corp. names new CEO

Noble Corp. has named David W. Williams as chairman of the board, CEO, and president.

SUGAR LAND, Texas -- Noble Corp. has named David W. Williams as chairman of the board, CEO, and president.

Williams previously served as senior VP of operations for Noble Drilling Services and senior VP and COO of Noble Corp.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from Texas A&M University. He serves on the board of directors of Spindletop Charities Inc. and the International Association of Drilling Contractors, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
