Offshore staff
RICHARDSON, Texas -- Furmanite has hired Dr. Paul Hill as global business development manager for composites. He will head up and develop the company's composite repair service worldwide.
Hill has worked with composite materials for the oil and gas industry for 20 years. He worked with Furmanite previously as technical manager for the Furmanite and DML Composites alliance. Most recently he was composite technology manager at Clock Spring. He has also worked with DML and British Gas.
Hill was a driver behind the Industry Workshop to develop guidance for design and application of composite repairs. Later, he worked with the ASME committee to establish the standard for composite repairs and subsequent ISO (TS 24817) certification.
