Offshore staff
ABERDEEN -- Offshore Marine Services (OMS) UK has appointed Karl Fear as marine superintendent.
Fear joins OMS from his previous position as team leader of marine assurance for a major global operator, where he was responsible for their offshore support fleet. In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall running of the marine operations department.
"Karl's appointment is a fundamental part of a program to build a robust management structure within our recently created marine consultancy division," says John Reid, UK director of Marine Operations. "Driving forward our presence within this area of the industry will be a crucial part of Karl's role. He brings with him a wealth of experience within the marine sector, both in the UK and global market, which will be integral in building the focus of our marine consultancy division."
