Marathon makes management changes

Marathon Oil has made the following changes to its senior management team:

Offshore staff

HOUSTON -- Marathon Oil has made the following changes to its senior management team:

•Steven B. Hinchman, currently senior VP of worldwide production, has been named executive VP of technology and services. He will be responsible for health, environment and safety; upstream technology; emerging technology; major projects; corporate social responsibility; and commercial services

•David E. Roberts Jr., currently senior VP of business development, has been named executive VP of upstream. He will be responsible for worldwide exploration, production and integrated gas, as well as upstream business development

•R. Douglas Rogers, currently organizational VP of environment, safety, and emergency response, has been named VP of health, environment, and safety. His responsibilities will also include emergency preparedness and security

•Daniel J. Sullenbarger, currently VP of corporate responsibility, has been named VP of corporate compliance and ethics. Sullenbarger will be responsible for Marathon's business integrity office and will serve as the company's chief compliance officer.
