LONDON -- Thalassa Energy Ltd. has appointed David Thomas, former MD of MedOil Plc, to its board. Thomas is a geologist with 35 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, mainly in North and West Africa.
"I am delighted to be joining the board of TEL. The acquisition of MedOil by Cairn Energy is now complete and I am free to explore other opportunities," says Thomas. "I am looking forward to working with the people at WGP, TEL's operations partner. There is no doubt in my mind that there is room in the energy industry for a focused, niche participant and I am excited at the opportunity to help TEL grow from the ground up."
