GE has appointed Lorenzo Simonelli as president and CEO of GE Oil & Gas.

FAIRFIELD, Connecticut– GE has appointed Lorenzo Simonelli as president and CEO of GE Oil & Gas. He succeeds Dan Heintzelman, who has been appointed vice chairman of GE to focus on services and operations.
Simonelli joined the company in 1994 and is a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program. He most recently served as president and CEO of GE Transportation.
