HOUSTON — Beach Energy Ltd. has appointed Brett Woods managing director and CEO, effective Feb. 21, 2024, or such other date as mutually agreed. Occidental Petroleum has named company veteran Sunil Mathew its new CFO. The appointment replaces Rob Peterson, who would now lead the company's chemical division. Peterson, who was the CFO since 2020, would transition into the role of executive vice president of essential chemistry at Occidental Chemical Corporation (OxyChem), a wholly owned subsidiary.
Abdul Hameed A. Al Dughaither has been appointed Aramco's business line executive vice president of exploration, petroleum engineering and drilling, and Abdulkarim A. Al Ghamdi has been appointed Aramco's business line executive vice president of gas. Both positions report to the upstream president.
