HOUSTON — Terje Askvig has been appointed Prosafe's new CEO, effective Nov. 1. Reese McNeel will continue as interim CEO until Nov. 1. Then he will continue as CFO. Read more. 

Geir Bjørkeli has decided to step down as CEO of marine battery solutions provider Corvus Energy. He will continue in his position until at the latest Dec. 31, 2023, to help ensure a seamless transition to new leadership.

Barryroe Offshore Energy Plc has announced that at a court hearing held July 31 that Kieran Wallace of Interpath Advisory was appointed as examiner to the company. Wallace will now have an initial period of 70 days to ascertain whether he can formulate a scheme of arrangement for the company to restructure its affairs. 

Offshore wind vessel firm Purus Wind has appointed Oliver MacManus general manager. MacManus will focus on overseeing the running of the construction/service operation vessels business. 

3D at Depth has recruited Mark Baisa to manage its technical sales and business development for North America. 

Katja van Doren has started as the new chief human resources officer and labor director of RWE AG.
