HOUSTON — Following the April 27 announcement that Jesper Kragh Andresen will step down as CEO, the board has decided to accelerate the leadership transition and to appoint Reese McNeel, the current CFO, to interim CEO and CFO, effective immediately and until a permanent replacement is selected. Trinidad and Tobago's state-owned oil company Heritage Petroleum has hired a 25-year veteran of US oil and gas producer ConocoPhillips CEO, the company's chairman. Erik Keskula was last president of Conoco's Malaysia unit until last year and earlier worked at its North Slope oil operations in Alaska. Arlene Chow, Heritage's current CEO, will retire effective June 13. Keskula is expected to take over on that date, according to a Reuters report.

Campbell Johnston Clark (CJC), an international law firm specializing in shipping and international trade, has announced that Richard Murray is rejoining its London-based team as a managing associate.
