Diamond Offshore appoints CEO

    Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. has named Bernie G. Wolford Jr. as president and CEO.

    HOUSTON – Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. has named Bernie G. Wolford Jr. as president and CEO. He will also serve on the board of directors.

    Wolford succeeds Marc Edwards, who retired as chairman, president and CEO on April 23, 2021 when the company and its debtor affiliates emerged from their chapter 11 financial restructuring.

    Wolford served as CEO of Pacific Drilling S.A. from November 2018 to April 2021.

    Also, the board of directors has elected Neal P. Goldman as chairman.
