STAVANGER, Norway – The Equinor board of directors has appointed Anders Opedal as president and CEO, effective Nov. 2, 2020.
He succeeds Eldar Sætre, who will retire on March 1, 2021 after six years as CEO and more than 40 years in the company.
Opedal comes from the position of executive vice president Technology, Projects and Drilling.
