Murphy Oil Corp.'s board of directors has appointed Eric M. Hambly, Murphy’s current president and COO, to succeed Roger W. Jenkins as the company's president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Hambly also will become a member of the board of directors. Jenkins will retire from the board on Dec. 31, 2024. He will remain with Murphy in a non-executive role as an adviser until his retirement on Dec. 31, 2025. Read more.
geoLOGIC systems has named Satvinder Flore CEO and a board member. Former CEO David Hood, who remains a significant shareholder, has assumed the role of chair of the company’s board of directors.
Geoquip Marine has appointed Rune Olav Pedersen CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2025. He has spent the last 14 years at PGS and led its successful turnaround and merger with TGS. Pedersen will be based at Geoquip’s headquarters in Switzerland and takes over from outgoing CEO Richard Turner, who has accepted a role closer to his family in the UK. Read more.

Offshore drilling contractor Northern Ocean has named Eirik Sunde its new chief commercial officer. Effective Dec. 1, Sunde will join Northern Ocean from Transocean, where he has served as senior marketing manager, overseeing commercial processes for the Norwegian sector.
Technip Energies has appointed Benjamin Lechuga chief strategy and sustainability officer and a member of the Group Executive Committee. He will oversee strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability agendas. Technip Energies also appointed Robert Scott managing director for the Americas. He is now responsible for Technip Energies’ operating centers in Houston, Claremont, Boston and Bogota. Read more.
FAR Ltd. has named Linh Gigler CFO and Michael Sapountzis company secretary. Claire Newstead-Sinclair resigned as company secretary and CFO on Sept. 26.
Tom Osterman has been selected as president of Aimbridge Energy Group, a manufacturer and solutions provider for renewable energy systems and primarily DC-coupled microgrid implementations.

Windar Renovables has begun work on adapting the land it has acquired in Asturias, Spain, for the manufacture of monopiles for offshore wind turbine foundations. The new factory will be complete in 2027. Read more.
Houston-headquartered JDR Cables, part of the TFKable Group, has opened a new service center in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The service center began operations in third-qaurter 2024, providing in-country technical and service support for umbilicals and related equipment, including asset management, repairs and maintenance, and supply of products such as hydraulic jumpers. WTS Energy, a provider of workforce solutions for the energy and infrastructure sectors, has expanded into Saudi Arabia with the establishment of WTS Energy Arabia. The new entity has operations in Riyadh and the Eastern Province.
Independent consultancy Safetec Nordic AS has been sold to testing service provider TÜV Rheinland.
