BSP contracts TendrillWood for brownfield EPC project management

Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) has awarded the partnership between John Wood Group and Tendrill International a five-year brownfield engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services agreement.
The current Valaris 115 rig contract with Shell for operations offshore Brunei began in April 2023 and is scheduled to end in April 2027, according to Valaris' latest fleet status report released April 30 of this year.

The TendrillWood joint venture, formed in 2023, will manage integrated EPC projects, from conceptual design through commissioning and startup, across BSP’s offshore and onshore facilities. The contract also carries an option for a two-year extension.
TendrillWood employs about 1,000 personnel, 70% of which are Bruneian.The contractual terms call for continued investment in the development of local skills and the supply chain.
