The jackets are for the WH4 and WH5 platforms, which are 90 km offshore from Ras Laffan Industrial City. Each jacket will consist of four piles and a temporary drilling deck and will weigh 1,500 tons and 1,300 tons, respectively.

The WH4 jacket is under construction at the Jebel Ali fabrication yard. It is a fast-track fabrication project due for delivery and installation offshore Qatar in 3Q 2004. The WH5 jacket will be installed in late spring 2005. Both jackets will be installed using theDB27 derrick barge.
