ANN ARBOR, Michigan --GfG Instrumentation has introduced the Microtector II, G450 multi-gas detector. The compact, lightweight four-gas detector continuously measures oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and combustible gases in ambient air.

The device operates with only three menu-driven keys. A full graphic display provides readings of all sensors at a glance. Its functional, water resistant design (IP 67) incorporates an impact proof, rubberized housing to meet harsh environment requirements.

The detector has an audible alarm of 103 dB at 30 cm (12 in). Rotating alarm lights provide a warning from gas hazards. Depending on alarm status, the display changes color from green to orange or red.

The battery status and readiness of operation are permanently monitored and displayed. Critical conditions will cause an immediate alarm. TLV, TWA, and STEL values are continuously monitored. A vibrating alarm gives notice in loud environments.

Depending on the frequency and duration of alarms, the detector can operate for 24 hours. With its rechargeable NiMH battery pack, recharging time is four hours for a full charge.

The factory calibrated sensors, covered by a 3-year warranty, assure accurate readings.
