LAFAYETTE, Louisiana --Devin International and DeepBlue Technologies are partnering on a landing string solution for the deepwater completions market.
The completion tree package is compatible for completions through horizontal or conventional production trees. It has been reserved for its first deployment in early September.
With a surface test tree from Devin and subsurface completion tree from DeepBlue, the partnership offers a single-source rental package that extends from rig floor to tubing hanger.
Devin's surface test tree serves well intervention applications. It results in efficiency during rig up and rig down, and accommodates up to 15,000 psi.
DeepBlue's subsea intervention tree is the industry's shortest 15,000 psi subsea completion tree and has a 2 million pound tensile load capacity.
Currently designed as a direct hydraulic system, the completion tree generally is limited by a semisubmersible or peripheral equipment to water depths up to 1,524 m (5,000 ft).
