HOUSTON --Baker Oil Tools Australia has completed the first successful horizontal gravel pack in the Stybarrow field. At a depth of approximately 875 m (2,871 ft), Stybarrow is Australia's deepest oil field.

Solutions exceeded "conventional" gravel pack completions wisdom with uphill deviation of the wellbore.

BOT's Torque and Draq and XOTPAQ software were used in the design phase and during the execution of the well. The company said well response was predicted accurately throughout the job.
