National Oillwell Varco (NOV) has launched a new product, the Shaffer 13 5/8-in. (35-cm) LXT Ram Blowout Preventer.

HOUSTON --National Oillwell Varco (NOV) has launched a new product, the Shaffer 13 5/8-in. (35-cm) LXT Ram Blowout Preventer.

The new line of BOPs features boltless door technology, which reduces maintenance downtime and increases personnel safety, according to NOV.

The product is available in 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000 psi versions.
