BUFFALO, New York --Kee Industrial Products Inc. has introduced handrail systems using Kee Lite aluminum or Kee Klamp galvanized steel safety components. The systems are corrosion resistant and conform to USCG Refs: 33 CFR 143.110 120 and 46 CFR 108.217-233 for offshore platforms.

Railing systems built with these safety components require only simple hand tools for installation, which delivers savings in time and labor, according to Kee.

Also, no hot work permit is required for installation. Therefore, production does not have to shut down in order to make repairs.

The company's latest offering to the industry is its Kee Lite aluminum safety components. Constructed of high-grade aluminum silicon magnesium alloy, Kee Lite components also are corrosion resistant and light weight, which is ideal for topsides, the company says.

Kee's products are independently tested to meet OSHA Standard Pipe Railing 1910.23 and comply with the standard building code, BOCA National Building Code.
