HOUSTON -- Wescorp Energy has unveiled a new field engineering and process management program. According to the company, the new gas management solution bridges the energy world's manpower shortage and the need for enhanced processes and accurate information for field operations.
"Gas companies have been relying on contractors to fill their field knowledge gaps," says Doug Biles, Wescorp president and CEO. "Wescorp bridges that gap with our gas management solution, allowing operators to concentrate on drilling for, producing, and transporting vital gas supplies."
"A key feature of the system is that we can acquire, track and process vital information – flow rates, leak detections, compliance records, gas composition, and more – throughout every stage of the gas flow process," says Scott Shemwell, Westcorp COO. "This means the gas management solution can provide value from the time a gas molecule begins its journey from well perforation through the flow computer, down the pipeline to the gas plant and to the custody transfer point."
