Yokogawa releases Coriolis mass Flowmeter

Yokogawa Electric Corp. has released the Rotamass XR Coriolis mass flowmeter.

TOKYO -- Yokogawa Electric Corp. has released the Rotamass XR Coriolis mass flowmeter. According to the company, the flowmeter is the largest ever product of its type, and is capable of handling a maximum flow rate of 600 t/h.

The production features:
•A self-draining design with dual-balanced metering tubes
•Bi-directional measurements on mass flow, density, and temperature
•Measurement of concentration, volume flow, and net flow
•Temperature measurement accuracy of 0.5°C
•Operation temperature range of -200°C to +230°C
•Adaptability for use in high solid content slurry applications (when used with the new high-power option)
•Built-in self-diagnostic capabilities including slug flow detection, compensation, and corrosion detection.
