Jiskoot has launched its patented wet gas meter, MassPhase, as an alternative to spot sampling dye tracer techniques and online devices.

HOUSTON --Jiskoot has launched its patented wet gas meter, MassPhase, as an alternative to spot sampling dye tracer techniques and online devices.
MassPhase extracts samples of wet gas for reservoir management or measurement allocation. These samples can be used to compensate for errors in DP measurement caused by the liquid in wet gas.
The meter system also provides a gas sample for periodic well testing. Manual and automatic versions of the system are available.
According to Jiskoot, five of the wet gas meters are deployed in the North Sea.
