SOUTHAMPTON, UK --BEASY has introduced a new version of its corrosion modeling software.

According to BEASY, this latest update can model complex electrical connections and internal resistances in flowlines and subsea systems that are needed to accurately predict the effectiveness of cathodic protections systems for oil and gas installations.

"This release contains new developments which are important for our customers in the oil and gas industry who use corrosion modeling to verify the design of cathodic protection systems and to understand and minimize the complex interactions that occur in modern deepwater developments," says Dr Robert Adey, managing director of BEASY.
