Adchem launches foam bonding tape product line

RIVERHEAD, New York -- Adchem Corp. has launched a range of custom foam bonding adhesive tapes for sound attenuation and vibration damping applications. The product is available to the automotive, aerospace, marine, appliance, medical electronics, and heavy equipment markets. Adchem provides acrylic and rubber adhesive systems and acrylic/rubber hybrid products for OEMs and foam and gasket fabricators nationwide.

The viscoelastic properties of Adchem's adhesive tapes create structural borne wave interference and refraction when placed between two sheets of material. This composite exhibits less vibration, generating reduced sound energy.
