Senergy unveils Wellscope 3D modeling tool

LAFAYETTE, Louisiana -- Senergy’s oil and gas division has unveiled Wellscope, a new tool that produces 3D models of prospective wells to estimate the inflow performance of horizontal, deviated, and vertical wells using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

“Wellscope evaluates a well prior to drilling and allows exploration from every angle,” says consultant Michael Byrne. “This supplies a more accurate determination of how a well will perform and, through corroborating evidence, allows decision making to be much more informed and comprehensive.”
