Maersk Oil Norway plans to start procuring drilling equipment and services for an exploration well in the mid Norwegian license PL431, expected to spud date late this year or early next.

COPENHAGEN -- Maersk Oil Norway plans to start procuring drilling equipment and services for an exploration well in the mid Norwegian license PL431, expected to spud date late this year or early next.

Requirements include well test services, supply and stand by vessels, diesel fuel, casing and tubing, helicopter services, drilling and completion fluids, electric line logging services, cuttings disposal services, ROV services, shore base/dock services, directional drilling (logging while drilling and measurement while drilling) services, mud logging, cementing, coring, fishing, drill bits, liner hangers, subsea wellheads, casing and conductors, tubular running services, rig move and positioning services, telecommunications services, and slick line services.
