Nexen extends Aker UK service agreement

ABERDEEN, UK-- Nexen Petroleum has awarded Aker Offshore Partner a three-year contract extension for engineering and construction work in the UK North Sea. The estimated value is around £60 million ($90 million). The work scope involves a range of engineering, procurement and construction services.
Aker has been working for Nexen on its UK production facilities since 2005. Work under the extension will continue through April 2013.
