Ashtead orders CDL positioning packages

Ashtead Technology has ordered $1 million of CDL subsea positioning equipment.

ABERDEEN, UK – Ashtead Technology has ordered $1 million of CDL subsea positioning equipment.

The purchase includes CDL’s newly launched MobIUS mobile inertial underwater system which gives heading, attitude, speed of sound, acoustic telemetry, and ranging; the MiniPOS3 inertial navigation system for heading, pitch and roll, and depth; and the TOGS (tiny optical gyro system) for vessel, AUV and ROV use.
