GE wins CLOV power generation order

ABERDEEN -- Total has awarded GE a $113-million contract to supply gas turbines and compressors for the CLOV multi-field development offshore Angola.

GE Oil & Gas will deliver four LM2500+ G4 SAC aero-derivative gas turbines for power generation and five compressors for the CLOV FPSO. The development is 140 km (87 mi) from Luanda, and will tae in production from the Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea and Violeta fields.
