ABERDEEN, UK – Shell has awarded Hydratight a four-year service and maintenance contract for three North Sea reception facilities in eastern Scotland.

Hydratight will provide bolting and machining services for maintenance and shutdown operations at Shell’s St. Fergus gas plant at Peterhead in Aberdeenshire; the Mossmorran fractionation plant outside Cowdenbeath; and the Braefoot Bay marine gas terminal near Aberdour.

These facilities bring natural gas and other liquids to the mainland from the North Sea.

Around 40 Hydratight staff recently managed a two-month shutdown schedule at St Fergus.
