MTL completes FPSO Schiehallion water ballast tank repair project

BRACKNELL, UK -- Marine Technical Limits (MTL) has completed a water ballast tank accelerated repair project on BP’s FPSO Schiehallion.

Over three and a half months, the company installed 120 metric tons (132 tons) of structural steelwork with 3.5 km (2.1 mi) of welding in four pairs of wing ballast tanks.
