Vicinay wins Goliat moorings

SANDNES, Norway -- Eni Norge has contracted Vicinay Cadenas for design and supply of anchor chains for the Goliat FPSO in the Barents Sea. The contract value is around NOK 150 million ($24 million).

Vicinay Cadenas will provide 14 165-mm (6 ½-in) diameter anchor chains and connecting elements.

Goliat is due to start production in late 2013. Eni Norge operates in partnership with Statoil.
