Offshore staff

LARNACA, Cyprus -- BG International (CNS) has contracted Prosafe’s Safe Caledonia accommodation rig for Gaupe and other projects in the North Sea.

The contract carries a nine-month firm period, with options for a further eight-week extension. Operations are due to start next March.

Total value of the fixed-term portion is around $56 million.
