Sonsub to produce multi-purpose deepwater laying spread, capable of working on different vessels

(Aberdeen) Remcut & Righini in Italy have commissioned Sonsub to build a new deepwater lay system for umbilicals, flexibles and small diameter pipelines. The equipment should be delivered this fall, for mobilization initially to theNormand Cutter.
The system will include a large carousel and over-boarding tower/chute, designed for ultra-deepwater laying. It will be modular and highly portable, to allow mobilization onto numerous different construction vessels.
