Inspection group Servtech signed up for a further seven years by Chevron offshore Angola

(Angola) - Aberdeen-based inspection specialist Servtech has been granted a seven-year extension to its contract with Cabinda Gulf Oil Co in Angola. The award, valued at over £30 m, covers non-destructive testing, inspection, rigging, lifting and crane maintenance services, as well as procurement.
Servtech plans to double its workforce in Malongo, Angola, Aberdeen and Kazakhstan to 100 by the end of this year. Seventy personnel will manage the Cabgoc contract, made up equally of expatriates and Angolan nationals.
