RANDABERG, Norway -- Hydro has given Acergy a three-year extension to its North Sea ROV services contract, starting May 1, 2007. The program, first awarded in 2002, involves structural inspection, maintenance, and repair of Hydro's subsea equipment, including module handling, as well as associated onshore engineering.

During the new three-year period, Acergy will upgrade theFar Saga - on charter from Farstad Shipping – to bring it in line with other newbuild vessels for inspection, maintenance, and repair work.
