ZORRITOS, Peru -- Bisso Lufesa has performed a platform inspection for BPZ Energy off the coast of Northwest Peru.
The Bisso Lufesa crew spent a month aboard the dive support vesselDSV Caballo De Trabajo inspecting the four-pile production platform in 208 ft (63 m) of water.
Divers performing the Level II inspection checked for excessive marine growth, damaged welds, corroded structural members, decay, wall thickness, cathodic protection, and other conditions affecting the production platform.
The DSV was outfitted with two complete deep-air and mixed-gas diving systems. The vessel, which is four-point moored, was also outfitted with a 10-ton (9-metric-ton) hydraulic crane and a 40,000-psi water blaster.
