Offshore staff
OSLO -- Petrobras has awarded Aker Solutions two contracts totaling $20.2 million for the design and supply of a Pusnes offshore mooring system and a Pusnes riser pull-in system for the semisubmersible P-55.
The contracts call for 16 roller RamWinches, several specially designed winches, and a wire-routing system for a semisubmersible production unit owned by Petrobras PN BV. The floating production unit will be built at the new Rio Grande shipyard in Brazil. After completion it will be installed on the Roncador field offshore Brazil.
Delivery will take place during 2010.
