THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Chevron Australia has awarded CB&I a $550-million contract for LNG and condensate storage tanks on the Gorgon project offshore Australia.
CB&I’s scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction of two, 180,000 cu m full containment LNG tanks, four condensate tanks and associated piping, electrical, instrumentation, and civil works. CB&I’s portion of the project is scheduled for completion in 3Q 2013.
