HOUSTON -- Baker Hughes has launched Centrilift Vision, a real-time artificial lift system monitoring and optimization service. Centrilift Vision collects data from artificial lift operations and providing clients with information to optimize production and minimize field downtime.
The service includes fuzzy logic alarming, daily exception reporting, and advanced key performance indicator tracking. According to the company, these features allow operators to highlight and diagnose artificial lift issues and opportunities in real time, ensuring optimal production levels from artificially lifted wells and maximizing the life of the artificial lift system.
“Vision is a breakthrough in artificial lift monitoring and optimization because we have closed the gap between the time a production-impacting event occurs and when it is recognized, diagnosed, and repaired in the field,” says John Kenner, president of the Baker Hughes Centrilift product line. “This capability can dramatically reduce non-productive time.”
