Litre Meter to supply Chim Sao platform flowmeters

BUCKINGHAM, UK -- Litre Meter is supplying 44 positive displacement flowmeters for a joint venture project between PremierOil and PetroVietnam, in block 12W offshore Vietnam.
The meters form part of a chemical injection metering skid system to be installed on a FPSO for Premier Oil’s Chim Sao drilling and production platform.
The meters measure a range of chemicals including demulsifier, defoamer, scale inhibitor, water clarifier, corrosion inhibitors, and methanol. They operate at pressures up to 3,675 psig and have been calibrated to monitor a variety of flow rates from zero up to 295 l/h, according to Litre Meter.
