BRISTOL, UK – The Morsa field offshore Angola has achieved first oil via the jackup D-111. DPS and ADC supplied operator Sonangol with a viable and economic shallow water solution in the form of a jackup, which acts as a 20,000 b/d Central Processing Facility (CPF).

DPS had EPC responsibilities for all process and utility systems onboard the CPF. The company surveyed the original rig to ensure that the required processing and power generation systems could be installed, completed the subsequent design and supply of the integrated system, and carried out infield and export flow assurance studies.
