Perry Slingsby Systems wins ROV contract

Lewek Shipping has awarded Perry Slingsby Systems (PSS) a $23-million contract to supply two 4,000-m (13,123-ft) Triton XLXs, two 3,000-m (9,842-ft) Triton XLXs, and one 3,000-m (9,842-ft) Triton XLS, with the option to extend the deal with a further two systems.

SINGAPORE -- Lewek Shipping has awarded Perry Slingsby Systems (PSS) a $23-million contract to supply two 4,000-m (13,123-ft) Triton XLXs, two 3,000-m (9,842-ft) Triton XLXs, and one 3,000-m (9,842-ft) Triton XLS, with the option to extend the deal with a further two systems. All ROVs will be delivered by 2Q 2010.

Each work class system is equipped with ICE net controls, integrated pilot and co-pilot control chairs, bespoke Dynacon launch and recovery systems, and 750-m (2,461-ft) excursion tether management units.

PSS will provide ship interface engineering and installation services from its support base in Singapore, from September through to delivery. Once in service, the ROVs will be deployed across EZRA’s global operations and will be supported by PSS from its network of service centers in Aberdeen, Singapore, Houston, and Brazil.
